Dog Days of Summer
There will be no daily posts for the next couple of days as I will be out of the country, -with- my camera, but -without- internet access. Expect much photographic inspiration when I return. In the meantime, enjoy the older pictures.
Visually, this was the most interesting of the photos I took to illustrate the theme, "Dog Days of Summer." The original plan was to add ice to the water and take the pitcher outside so that it would form condensation, but the flowers themselves looked so bright and summery, and the shadow so vivid and sharp, that I used the picture that included them and the visually counter-intuitive ice in the pitcher instead.

unique and i love your style. i can surely have a drink from that icy-cold water if it was really too damn hot....
i particularly like the angle on that one.
