More from our trip to the exotic plant nursery this afternoon. See also: fauna. I love the texture on this begonia leaf. Here's a shot of more of the plant:

I'm not sure what kind of begonia this was, and it wasn't clearly marked. I did see a beautiful angel-wing begonia growing there. It reminded me of my great-grandmother -- she had one exactly like it. For the sake of completism, I should point out that my mom still has the angel-wing begonia, but my G'ma took very good care of it.

This is a bromeliad. At least, I think it is.

These flowers had a stunning color, and look at the helix in the bud! Lloyd thinks they're plumeria, which sounds perfectly reasonable to me, so plumeria they shall be.

The next pictures to follow will be various varieties of orchid.
