Theme Thursday: School

It's been seven years or more since I've left this school for any significant length of time. This is a simplified version of the official University of Texas logo, which adorns the tops of the gates leading to the Tower.

The architectural style on campus is very distinctive, with most buildings themed after the same "Mediterranean revival" style designed by Paul Cret in the 1930s.

When I try to imagine an ivory tower, I always see the limestone campus buildings topped with red Spanish tile.
