Monarch butterfly

After having heard several news reports indicating that monarch butterflies may be endangered due to destruction in their habitats, it was a special joy to see these monarchs among the butterflies that swarmed into a cloud of flowers as I walked past.

Someday may be too late to see a monarch butterfly. I was thrilled to see several in the middle of November.
