Cigar Shop Girl - September 14, 2004
This cigar shop occupies the same building as a voodoo shop, on one of the streets that runs perpendicular to Bourbon Street. Both shops had signs prohibiting photography, but when I saw the cigar shop girl leaning against the door frame, I couldn't resist.
Later, I went inside the cigar shop and realized there was a voodoo statue inside. Luckily, the cigar shop girl was blocking it, and I didn't steal part of its soul.

This is a great photograph. You really captured a mood and a moment.
