...and the rain keeps falling
I haven't written much about the rain. For as long as Shoal Creek stays within its banks, it doesn't affect me much. My roof seems secure enough, and while it's inconvenient, the rain isn't much of a threat to me at the moment.
In fact, it seemed like we'd all get to quit talking about the rain. We've had a fairly sunny past couple of days, but the rumbling in the sky this evening foretold more storms. Sure enough, it's raining again.
I don't really crave 110† Texas heat, but then, I'm kind of tired of getting wet everywhere I go. Really, I'd be perfectly content with a nice, dry cold front right about now.
(Is that so much to ask?)
Oh, and I caught Huxley in a very undignified pose this evening. He always tries to look so classy and cultured, so this yawn made me laugh.
