Dear Raed

I've been reading a weblog called Dear Raed for a few days now. It's a fascinating weblog written by a young man living in Baghdad. If you want to know what's -really- happening in Baghdad right now, it's a must-read -- an even-handed report of events and bombings in the city that puts another human face to a place that I can only imagine.

Have been trying to access the site for 3 days now - another victim of the internet censors?

Seems like the 21st century is off to an ominous start - aggressive invasion, censorship, conflict, hysterical fear, flagrant contravention of geneva convention by all sides, but really worst by USA given it's supposed compliance with humanitarian principles.

Of course, maybe it's not a conspiracy at all - it might just be that the site is so popular it can't be accessed :)
