K is for Kissing

...which is what I've been doing instead of updating, I suppose.

Scott arrived in Austin late on Christmas night for his third trip to Texas in the last eight months or so. We spent six days in Corpus Christi, hanging out with my family and seeing what there is to see in my hometown, then returned to Austin to spend the last four or five days. It was a good combination of revisiting the things we had enjoyed on his last trip to Austin in April and trying out new things, like ice skating and Indian food.

It turns out that ice skating is much harder when you're 29 and afraid of falling than when you're 10 or 11 and closer to the ground. It also turns out that Indian food is quite yummy, but not yummy enough to distract me from gazing admiringly at my new ring.
